Dress Code AEA has not adopted a mandatory uniform; however, there is still a suggested dress code for our students. We continue to encourage our families to follow the dress code. The following items may be purchased at many retail stores. Families who are interested in clothing pieces with the AEA logo can purchase them at Scholastic Uniform Store in Maspeth. The top is a collared, polo shirt. The color choices are white, yellow, or burgundy. The bottoms are pants, walking shorts, skirt, skort, or jumper. The color choices are black or khaki. We would like to have gym clothing that consists of burgundy nylon shorts and a grey tee shirt or burgundy sweatshirt and sweatpants.

By clicking the online store, you will find a drop down menu of different schools. By clicking on PS303, our suggested dress code items will appear.
Please Note: For those families that do not wish to dress their children in the clothing items mentioned above, the following is a list of items that may not be worn to school: Flip flops or any open-toe shoes, heels, heelies Midriff, spaghetti, halter, tube-tops Short shorts, long skirts that create a trip hazard Dangling earrings, big hoop earrings Dangling scarves, belts or any item that can be caught on furniture or playground equipment Clothing items that are unsafe, offensive and/or disruptive to the educational process
