Kindergarten News
Morning arrival begins with our "Stop and Drop" policy. All Kindergarten parents will drop their child off inside the gate of the schoolyard entrance (the corner of 69th Avenue and 110th Street). Parents will not be permitted into the schoolyard. Staff members will be on hand to escort your child to their designated class line-up spot.
Leveled Book List For a comprehensive list of leveled books visit home.comcast.net/~ngiansante/. This website offers book lists that are broken down by title, author, and grade level. Another resource for finding the level of a specific book is http://bookwizard.scholastic.com/tbw/homePage.do . The left hand side of the page offers a box under Quick Search to type in the title or author. When you hit "search" you will see the grade equivalent level. You then have to click “guided reading” on the top right where it says “Your Reading Level System.” When you hit "set", the Fountas and Pinnell letter will be displayed.
