What's New? Please make a note that office hours to see or call Ms. Donna are from 9am - 2pm while school is in session. Arrival and dismissal are extremely busy times in the office and Ms. Donna is unable to give you her full attention.
Important Dates to Remember:
Jan 4th - 7:15am - SLT meeting Jan 5th - 6:30pm - PTA meeting Jan 9th - Kindergarten application process begins. Parents interested in a Kindergarten seat for the 2012/2013 schoolyear, Donna will be accepting application from 9am-11am and 1pm-2pm beginning Jan 9th. Jan 13th - 8:30am - Third grade testing meeting Jan 16th - No school Jan 27th - Pre-Kindergarten non-attendance day
Looking Ahead:
Feb 20th - Feb 24th - Mid winter recess. No school
*** For the safety of your child, the staff of AEA WILL NOT, under any circumstance, release your child to anyone who is not listed on the emergecy blue card!
IMPORTANT: ANY changes to your child's schedule MUST be put in writing and placed in your child's folder. This applies to a change in who will be picking your child up (must be listed on blue card); if your child will or will not be taking the bus at dismissal; etc. For the safety of your child, it is imperative that YOU notify the school of any changes that affect the normal dismissal process!!! Please DO NOT rely on emails to the teacher to impart this time sensitive information!
General Information Our regular school hours are 8:10am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Our Extended Day programs is on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2:30pm-3:20pm. Extended Day is a program offered for children who would benefit from additional academic support.
*** Our free breakfast program is served on a daily basis from 7:40am-8:05am. Pre-K children will be having breakfast in their classrooms at 8:10.
